Frederick White Caunter

Frederick White CAUNTER, late Colour Sergeant 419, 35th Royal Sussex Regiment. died 16th December 1920 aged 64 years, born in Birmingham in 1856. Manager of Mineral Water Factory in Malta. Hannah, his wife died 28th March 1942 aged 76, native of Waterford, Ireland. At rest in Ta Braxia Cemetery, Malta.
He was awarded the 1882 Egyptian medal, Second Egyptian War as Lance Sergeant then Sergeant 419, 1st Sussex Regiment and the Sudan Medal as Colour Sergeant , same regiment, 1884-1886.
