Frederick Temple Rowan Hamilton. Lieutenant Colonel, Norfolk Regiment. Born 17 July 1850 at Killyleagh Castle to Brigadier General Gawain Basil Rowan-Hamilton, DSO, MC and Catherine Ann, nee Caldwell. 1901 -1911 residing with his wife and servants at Culverlands, Farnham, Guilford, Surrey, Lieutenant Colonel, retired Husband of Blanche Mary, nee Fellowes Gordon, daughter of Rear Admiral, William Abdy and Hanna Fellowes-Gordon, nee Gordon. His last known recorded resident with his wife was at 23 Cambalt Road, Putney, London. Died 9 February 1941 aged 91 years at Bonkyl Lodge, Preston Duns, Berwickshire.

London Gazette dated 12 May 1882. War Office, Pall Mall, 12th May 1882
General and General-Governor of Ireland. Dated 8th May 1882. Captain Frederick Temple Rowan Hamilton, the Norfolk Regiment and others.
