Private 3975, Frederick George WASLEY 2/1st Royal Gloucestershire Hussars died 20th January 1917. Son of William and Annie of Brockworth Cottage, Brockworth and husband of Emily Annie nee Swinford. One of his brothers Charles, was in the army (see below) At rest in St George churchyard, Brockworth, Gloucestershire
His brother Charles joined the army and this is some information from his burnt record
He joined up on 29th February 1916 at the Citadel, Plymouth aged 22 years and gave his employment as Labour and next of kin his father, William, of Brockworth Cottage, Brockworth, He was Private 78510, of the Royal Garrison Artillery. On the 19th October 1917 he was addmitted to the Edingburgh War Hospital, Bangour, Scotland (Psychiatric Hospital). His illness was TB of the left lung. There is some other information but it has been damaged by flame and water. He was discharged from the army on the 15th February 1918 whilst in the hospital, where he died on the 22nd April 1918
