Extended Description: Private 53531, 10th York & Lancs Regiment killed in action at Ypres, 16th August 1918 aged 19. Son of Thomas and Fanny of 15, West Street, Alderley Edge.

Commemorated on a family memorial at Alderley Edge Cemetery, Cheshire and is buried at Abeele Aerodrome Military Cemetery, Poperinge, Belgium
