- Frederick CURRIE. Stoker SS100372, Royal Navy on HMS Minerva. Born 15th October 1881 at Bury, Lancashire, enlisted 9th January 1904, occupation prior to enlistment, barman. Died 21 December 1905 aged 24 of enteric fever at Royal Naval Hospital, Malta. In 1891 he was living with his parents Joseph and Ellen and his siblings at 19 Byron Street, Woolfold, Lancaster His sister U Currie of 27 Millett Street, Fernleigh, Bury was informed of his death on the 21st December 1905. At rest in Plot B, Grave 118, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta. (Unmarked burial)
