Son of Edward and Rose Cordwell, 4 Stanley Villa, Spillmans Road, Rodborough, Stroud, Gloucestershire. Grandson of Frederick and Ellen Cordwell.

At rest at Dickebusch New Military Cemetery, Belgium.

Commemorated on a family headstone at

Rodborough St Mary Magdalene Churchyard, Gloucestershire.
