Son of Henry and Ann Rosewell. Born in Bristol.
In 1891 he resided with his parents and siblings at 74 Oxford Street, Bedminster and his father was an Inn Keeper.
Nephew of William and Emma Johns.

At rest at Bancourt British Cemetery, France.

Commemorated on a family headstone at

Horninglow St John Churchyard, Staffordshire.

Formerly 177387 Royal Engineers.
Son of William and Emma Johns. In 1911 his mother was listed as widowed and resided at 177 Horninglow Road, Burton-upon-Trent and his occupation was given as a cooper with Bass & Co. Breweries. 2 August 1913 at St Chad's Church, Burton, he married Cecelia Beatrice Emery. She was granted a war gratutity 6 February 1919, revised 2 January 1920.

Commemorated at Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
