Extended Description
MOTTRAM Fred, Private, 17556, 1st King’s Own Scottish Borderers. Died from injuries and disease 9th July 1915 in Malta, while on active service at the Dardanelles . Born at Hyde Cheshire, son of Henry who was granted a war gratuity on the 5th February 1916.

DAVIDSON John Jackson. Lance Corporal, 1750, 5th Royal Scots (Queen’s Edinburgh Rifles). Died of wounds 6th July 1915, aged 22 years at Malta from injuries received while in action at Gallipoli. Son of George Riddle and Elizabeth Davidson, of 7 Earlston Place, Edinburgh.

YATES Arthur Chester. Private 2286. D Company, 1/6th Manchester Regiment. Died of wounds 8th July 1915 aged 25 in Malta from injuries received while in action in the Egyptian Theatre. Son of Arthur Carr Yates and Annie Yates, of 61, Garners Lane, Stockport.
