- Frank MILNER. Able Seaman Tyneside Z7991. Royal Naval (VR), HMS Landing Barge Oil(LBO 63) (Egmont). Born 4th January 1896 to Samuel and Annie of (1901) Chappel Lane, Carlton, Yorkshire. In 1911 he was residing with his widowed father at 15 Grace Street, Monk Bretton, Yorkshire occupation aged 15 years pit pony driver in a coal mine. Died 5th December 1918 aged 22 years in Royal Naval Hospital Malta from broncho pneumonia. His father of Brampton Terrace Sandhill, Great Houghton, Barnsley was informed of his death.
