Frank Cecil CLEGG

In loving memory of Frank Cecil Clegg, Captain 6th Battalion Border Regiment Born 15th February 1888, baptised 19th April 1888 at Holy Trinity Church, Littleborough, Lancashire. On the25th October 1914 he was injured by a shell explosion at Kruiseik Hill. He was killed in Action in Gallipoli August 22nd 1915. Erected by his brothers and sisters. He is commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey and Gallipoli. He was the son of Calder Hurst and Mary Ann of Kendal and wife of Ellen
