Frank Arthur JARVIS. Sapper 11100, Royal Engineers. Born at Stratford enlisted on the 15th May 1902 occupation tinsmith. Son of Samuel who was granted a war gratuity on the 7th July 1908. In 1901 aged 17 he was living with his father, mother Lydia nee Gilder and siblings at 11 Dunonow Road, West Ham . His occupation was a tin plate worker. Died 5th May 1908 in Malta.

George James MURPHY. Son of 3235 Sergeant Murphy, 1st Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Died 20th June 1909.

Walter THOMAS, Staff-Sergeant 770 Army Ordnance Corps attached 4th Rifle Brigade. Enlisted 2 August 1892 occupation prior to enlistment, gunsmith. Died 13th July 1908. A gratuity was granted to his widow Mary Ann on the 21 October 1908 revised 4th December 1908.
