Extended Description: Private 45958, 15th Sherwood Foresters [Notts & derby Regt] who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War 14th October 1914 aged 21. Son of Thomas & Charlotte of 69, Denmark Terrace, Wood Street, Mansfield.

Commemorated on his parents' memorial at Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and is buried at Dadizeele New British Cemetery, Moorslede, West Vlaanderen, Belgium
