Felix Thomas JONES of Chippenham Wiltshire late major in H.M. 3rd Regiment of Buffs died 17th April 1900. His effects went to Edward Talbot Day Foxcroft esquire and the honourable Gilbert Murray Talbot. £154869.6s.6d.
Son of Thomas Jones and Margaret nee Nugent. Born 1838 at Westbury on Tryme, Gloucestershire.
In 1881 he was residing at the Market Place, Chippenham at the home of the Taylor Family, Major late 3rd Regiment. 1891 still at the same address home Georgina E Taylor, widow, and her family. He was aged 52, Retired Officer.
Commemorated on a window at St Andrew Church, Chippenham, Wiltshire.
