F008 VINCENT EDWIN DAWES. Leading Aircraftman 542749, Royal Air Force. Born 1918 to William Henry and Alice Lilian Allsopp Dawes, nee Edwards of Wem, Shropshire. Died 23rd November 1940 aged 22 years. He is commemorated on Wem War Memorial.

F008 JACK NORMAN GLENDINNING WALLWORTH. Sergeant, Observer, 1288982, Royal Air Force (VR), 217 Squadron. Born 1905 in the registration district of Croydon to Norman James and Annie Wallworth, nee Glendinning. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at Conway, 97 Onslow Gardens, Wallington, Surrey. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - His residence in England was 35 Stanley Park Road, Carshalton, Surrey. His effects went to his widowed mother. Died in Malta 22nd July 1942 aged 36 years.

F008 DONALD FRANK HUBBARD. Sergeant, Pilot, 1197623, Royal Air Force (VR. Born 1922 to Frank and Lilian Elizabeth E C Hubbard, nee Frisby of Loughborough, Leicestershire. Died 28th July 1942 aged 20 years while flying his Spitfire. He attempted to land at RAF Luqa, but died in doing so. He is commemorated on the Leicester War Memorial.

F008 LESLIE HERBERT ATKINSON. Corporal, 613918, Royal Air Force (VR), the son of Sidney Herbert and Emily Maria Atkinson, nee Scott of Lower Edmonton, London. In 1939 his parents were residing at 246 Victoria Road, Edmonton. Died in Malta 29th July 1942.

F008 HORACE JOHN YATES. Corporal 813260, Royal Auxiliary Air Force, 69 Squadron. Born 1923 in Derby Died 2nd August 1942 aged 19.

F008 GEORGE WILLIAM HOLT. Leading Aircraftman 1017442, Royal Air Force (VR. Born 1911 to Joseph and Ethel Holt, of Eccleshill, Bradford. The husband of Dorothy May Holt, of Morecombe, Lancashire. Died as the result of a daylight bombing from JU88s over Ta-Qali 10 August 1942 aged 31 years.
