Extended Description: F076 GEORGE ROBERT HORN. Aircraftman 1st Class 1169517, Royal Air Force (VR). Born 1923 to William Thomas and Edith Mary Horn, nee Perkins of Northampton. Died 7th January 1942 aged 19 years. Wills and Admin, Ancestry. His residence was 13 Manfield Road, Northampton. Died on date stated his effects went to his father, brewer’s traveller.

F076 GEORGE ERNEST MALTBY. Aircraftman 2nd Class, 9471113, Royal Air Force (VR). Son of Blanch Maltby, of Basford, Nottingham. Died 7th January 1942 aged 21 years

At rest in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta Plot F Grave 76.

Both AC1 George Robert Horn and George Ernest Maltby were killed in an air raid by Junkers 88's at RAF Ta Kali. Per Ardua Ad Astra.
