F061 EDWARD HARRY BRENTON. Sergeant, 402272, Royal Australian Air Force. Attached to 107 Squadron, RAF. (Bristol Blenheim light bomber). Born 2 May 1905 to Reginald Augustus and Agnes Sarah Brenton, nee Kearnes of Hampton, Victoria, Australia. Enlisted 22 July 1940 aged 35 years and 2 months and resided with his parents at 353 Bluff Road, Hampton, Victoria, Australia, occupation, journalist with the Daily Telegraph, Castlereagh Street, Sydney Australia. Previous military service. Military Senior Cadets at St Kilda, Victoria 1919-22 and Citizen Force, 4th Division Signals 1922-25. Died 16th October 1941 aged 36 years
At rest in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta Plot F Grave 61.
