F175 JAMES MINTO HOOD

F175 James Minto HOOD. Lieutenant 1190, General List attached to Inland Water Transport, Royal Engineers. Born 1891 to son of James and Lena Roberts Hood, of 30 Barrack Street, Dundee, Scotland. 1901 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 4 Bellfield Avenue, Liff and Benvie, Angus, Scotland. Died at Cottonera Military Hospital, Malta 23rd February 1920, aged 30 years. His effects went to his father, brush manufacturer.

Originally at rest in Rinella Military Cemetery, in Plot P Row 3 Grave 6.

Now at rest in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta Plot F Grave 175
