F174 Crispen Edward OWEN. Sergeant 52705, 2nd Northumberland Fusiliers. Born 1893 to Son of Robert and Alice Maud Owen of Wallasey, Cheshire. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at 20 Lower Street, Liscard, Cheshire, occupation steel labourer. Husband of Isabella Owen, nee Steen also of Wallasey, Cheshire who he married in 1914 at Liscard, Cheshire. Died 22nd February 1920, aged 27 years. On 29 October 1920 his widow was granted a war gratuity of £19.13s.05p.

Now at rest in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta Plot F Grave 174.



F174 Frederick SALISBURY, Private 57715, 1st Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Born 1899 at Ashton upon Ribble, Lancashire to John and Alice Salisbury nee Birch. 1901 and 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at 9 Brunswick Place, Broughton, Lancashire. On the 31 July 1919 at St Jude Church, Preston he married Isabell Cragg, his occupation, soldier. Died in Malta 13th April 1920. His widow was granted a war gratuity 26 July 1920 revised 12 August 1920.
