F173 THOMAS RUSHTON KELLEY, Private M/ 295291, Advanced Mechanical Transport Workshop (Mesopotamia) Royal Army Service Corps. Died 22nd February 1920, aged 27 years from pneumonia in Cottonera Military Hospital, Malta. Son of Thomas and Ada Kelley, of 3 Willesden Avenue, Manchester, husband of Florence Kelley, all of 224 Great Western Street, Moss Side, Manchester. His widow Florence May Marion was granted war gratuity. 27 July 1920, 29 October 1920, 12 January 1921 and 18 March 1921.

F173 JAMES MATHER. Private DM2/228678, 115th Mechanical Transport Coy Royal Army Service Corps. Born 16 November 1885 (as recorded on his army record) to James and Sarah A Mather Mather. 1891 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 501 Manchester Road, Worsley, Lancashire. On the 13 December 1913 he married Alice Cranshaw at St Clements Church, Urmston, Manchester, residence given at time of marriage was 23 Princess Road, Urmston, Manchester. On 31 August 1916 he enlisted into the army aged 30 years and 9 months and transferred to the Army Reserve to await mobilisation. On 18 October 1916 he was mobilised and posted the depot at Grove Park. After completion of his training he embarked at Devonport on 23 June 1917 with 818 Coy Army Service Corps, disembarked at Basrah 16 August 1917 and marched in Base Depot the same day. He was posted 730 Coy at the front on 13 September 1917. At some stage he was taken ill and invalided to Malta where he died 21 February 1920, aged 36 years in Cottonera Military Hospital, Malta from influenza. At the time of his death his wife and child resided at The Elms, Mobberley Road, Knutsford, Cheshire. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - His residence in England was 23 Princess Avenue, Urmston, Manchester.

Born 1892 in Yorkshire to William and Clara Peel. 1901 residing with his parents and siblings at 18 Ashley Road, Shipley, Yorkshire. 1911 residing with his widowed mother at 132 Windmill Road, Gillingham, Kent, occupation aged 19, shop assistant.
