BISHOP Langslow Thomas. Guardsman 2616790, Grenadier Guards and Special Boat Service, S.A.S. Regiment, A.A.C. Died of wounds 9th October 1943 aged 26. Son of Fred Langslow Bishop and Edith Bishop, nephew of Maj. Thomas Henry Bishop, of Derby.

BISHOP Nina. 1st Commandant of the Red Cross Auxillary Military Hospital, Ashe Hall, Heage Lane, Etwall from March 1941 until she died in a car crash returning home from duty on 10th April 1945. Born in Derby in 1889 she was the daughter of Francis J and Emma J Whitaker, former wife of Frank William Barnett, wife of Major Thomas Henry Bishop.
