Company Quartermaster Sergeant Ernest WINFIELD. No 6188 34th Coy Machine Gun Corps formerly 9099 King's Shropshire Light Infantry.
Killed in action 19 April 1918 aged 27

Son of Joseph and Florence Beatrice Winfield of the Hen and Chickens Public House, 37 Longden Coleham, Shrewsbury Shropshire. Brother of Alfred Victor and Leslie who both fell in the Great War.

Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.

Shrewsbury Cemetery, Shropshire.
