- Eric TRAINER. 609 (West Riding) Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force. 1998-2006
Corporal Eric Trainer died following a road traffic accident, and his funeral was held at Well Church, in Bedale, on 14th November. (2006)Eric had left the Squadron in September, after serving for six years as Corporal Clerk. His widow, Dee, had also served with 609 (WR) Squadron. A good contingent from the Squadron attended the service, and Brian Waite and Hugh Mulligan represented the Association.

This memorial plaque is at the Royal Auxiliary Air Force Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
