Extended Description: Major 66181 Eric Francis JOHNSTON. 1st Royal Ulster Rifles, Airborne Division killed in action on the 22nd August 1944. He was the son of Frank Johnston and Lucy Bell. His father died 2nd March 1958 and was living at Ballagh Lodge, Newcastle, County Down. He is at rest at Deauville in the Tourgeville Military Cemetery, near Deauville, France
