Extended Description: Elton Robert MILLS. Private 22610, C Company, 12th Gloucestershire Regiment Born 1890 and baptised 11 May 1893 along with 05 siblings children of Robert Albert and Annie Eliza Mills nee Peglar of Purton, near Sharpness, Glos.
1891- with his parents and siblings at Purton, Glos. 1901-1911 still residing at Purton with his siblings and his mother, still married. Father not home at time of census taken. His father occupation was a Gloster and Bristol Channel Pilot.
Died of wounds 17th September 1916 aged 26.
Commemorated on a family memorial in Berkeley Cemetery, Gloucestershire.
At rest in St Pierre Cemetery, Amiens, Somme, France
