PEARSON Edwin, Private, 12031, 6th Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, died 5th September 1915 in Malta from injuries of disease received at Gallipoli. Born at Bury, lived at Accrington, Lancashire, son of Emma who was granted a war gratuity on the 27th December 1915, revised on the 5th August 1919, and at this time Emma Lint.

BURROWS Herbert. Private, 13251, 8th Duke of Wellington’s Regiment Died of wounds 5th September 1915, aged 18 years from injuries received while at the Dardanelles. The son of Mrs. Rachel Burrows, of 3 Brook Street, Earby, Colne, Lancashire.

COOK Edward William. Corporal, 1147, 1/4th Royal Sussex Regiment. Died from enteric fever (typhoid) 4th September 1915, aged 36 at Malta. The son of William and Sarah Cook, of Hurstpierpoint, Sussex. The husband of Maria Etheridge (formerly Cook, nee Earl), of 56 North Street, Horsham. His widow was granted a war gratuity on the 13th December 1915, revised on the 23rd July 1919, and was then Maria Etheridge.
