Edwin John GREENSLADE. Private 8873 C Company, 2nd Devonshire Regiment died at Malta 20th March 1911 aged 20. He was born Tiverton, Devon, occupation labourer and enlisted into the army10th December 1908. He was the son of James Greenslade who was granted a war gratuity 25th April 1911. In 1901 he was living with his father and mother Sarah Ann nee Luxon and his siblings at 4 Silver Street, Tiverton, Devon . 1911 he was stationed with the 2nd Devonshire Regiment in Malta aged 20.

Stanley SIMONS. (Alias Symons) Private 8352, C Company 2nd Devonshire Regiment died at Malta 7th September 1911 aged 23. Born at Plymouth, occupation, indoor servant and enliste 31st May 1907. Son of Thomas Simons who was granted a war gratuity 29th September 1911.

Oswald GOULSON. Gunner 84939 65th Company, Royal Garrison Artillery. Born 28th March 1877, baptised in Gibraltar 3rd May 1877, enlisted 23rd May 1891 and died in Malta 12th March 1911. His brothers Henry Wells, Herbert, Frederick Charles, sisters Louisa, Emily and niece Emily were all granted a war gratuity in 1911. Son of Charles and Sarah nee Hicks. His parents were married at Pembroke Dock, Pembroke, Wales 5th February 1865. His mother died 1st April 1880. At the time of his birth his father was a gunner in the Royal Artillery stationed in Gibraltar.
