Born 1895 to William Thomas and Amy Florence Griffin. 1901 residing with his parents and sibling at 134 Stoke Newington Road, North Hackney, London. 1911 residing with his parents and brother at 109 Stamford Hill, London
He was killed in action on 16 September 1918, whilst on a reconnaissance operation his DH4 was intercepted and forced to land, the result of an enemy combat. The Pilot, Lieutenant C. Brown was unhurt.
