GREEN Edward Francis. Rifleman, R/9557, 3rd Battalion, King’s Royal Rifles Corps. Died of malaria, 21st November 1916, aged 27 years in St Pauls Military Hospital, Malta. Son of Harry and Harriet Green, of Islington, London. Husband of Florence Rose Green, of 11 Vittoria Street, Barnsbury, London.
HARRIS John Colin. Private, 26358, 7th Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment, formerly 22758, Hampshire Regiment. Taken ill in Salonica and died 19th November 1916, aged 29 years in a hospital in Malta of dysentery. The son of David and Mary Ann Harris, of Southampton.
NORMAN George Bathurst. Private, 8590, 2nd Battalion, East Surrey Regiment Died 14th November 1916 at Cottonera Hospital, Malta of dysentery. Son of George Boulder Bathhurst Norman. He was christened on the 12th September 1882 at Ryde, Hampshire.

Some notes from what remains of his army records. He joined up on the 2nd February 1915 at Cardiff, aged 32 and 9 months, occupation shorthand typist. His next of kin was his fiancé Miss Ada Mary Williams of Cathedral Yard, Exeter, Devonshire. On the 6th March 1915 he was posted to join the British Expeditionary Force in France.
On the 10th January 1916 he was admitted into 21 Casualty Clearing Station with muscular rheumatism, transferred the next day into Bo 9 General Hospital, Rouen the to England on the 26th January 1916. On the 12th April 1916 he was posted to the 4th Battalion and on the 27th August 1916 he was posted to Mediterranean Expeditionary Force to join the 2nd Battalion. While on active service he was sick with dysentery and date unknown was sent to Malta and admitted into Cottonera Hospital suffering from dysentery and died in this hospital on the 14th November 1916.
