Edward Archibald Rice LARMOUR. Engineer Lieutenant, Royal Naval Reserve on H.M.S Laurentic. Born 1 February 1880 to Edward and Annabell Larmour, nee Park who re-married to David Steele of 15 Suffolk Avenue, Belfast. His father died before his birth in 1880. 1901 residing with his mother and stepfather at 45 My Lady’s Road, Belfast. Husband of Johanna Margrietha Larmour, nee Neilsen of I, Stretton Avenue, Wallasey, Cheshire. They got married in 1907 in the registration district of West Derby, Lancashire. 1911 his wife and her sister Violet were residing at 15 Suffolk Avenue, Southampton. He was lost at sea on the sinking Laurentic, caused by a sea mine 25 January 1917 aged 36 of the Irish coast.

Commemorated on the family memorial of David and Annabell Steele at Dundonald Cemetery, Dundonald, Northern Ireland. Also commemorated on the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Devon.
