Private Edmund Thomas Young LOCK No. 3785 2nd/1st Bucks Bn. Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry
Died 18 August 1915

Edmund Thomas LOCK. Killed by a train on the Moulsford Railway Bridge, Moulsford, Oxfordshire on the 18 August 1915 aged 47. This bridge spans the river Thames. It appears he was not issued any medals as no record could be found.

On the 28 July 1887 he married Elizabeth Carter of Holy Trinity Church, Bath, Somerset. He used the name of Edmund Thomas Young Lock aged 22, Coachman, father named as James.

1891 census shows he used the name of Edmund T, living with his wife Elizabeth, aged 28 from Bath, living at 18 Great King Street, Birmingham. In 1901 living with his wife and child, Blanche Mabel aged 8 years living at 2 Vere Street, Birmingham. 1911 now a widower aged 44 living with his daughter, Blanche at 64 Imperial Road, Small Heath, Birmingham.

At rest at Banbury Cemetery, Oxfordshire.
