Captain Edgar Robert Hulme Beaman, Royal Engineers, Royal Flying Corps and Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. of 13 Training Depot Station RAF Ternhill, Shropshire. He was flying an Avro 504K E9285, the 17th december 1918 when he was in a midair collision with Avro 504K E9280, flown by Capt George Henry Harrison he was only injured. Captain Beaman later died of his injuries at Preecs Health Military Hospital Whitchurch Shropshire aged 27.
Son of Surgeon General A H Beaman I.M.S. and husband of Dorothy, of 45, Vicarage Road, Eastbourne, Sussex. Buried at Market Drayton Cemetery, Shropshire

His medals were sent to his widow at Ivy Farm, Mattis Hall, East dereham, Suffolk
