Captain 145174, Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders, killed in action in the Middle East on the 29th June 1941 aged 37. Only son of Albert George, Solicitor of Whitchurch. Commemorated on his father and sister's memorial in Whitchurch Cemetery, Shropshire and is buried in Damascus Commonwealth War Cemetery, Syria
