E044 Frederick COOKSEY. Private 9564, 2nd East Surrey Regiment. Died 18th May 1915 aged 24 years, buried by Reverend E. Edmonds-Smith C.F. Son of George and Selina Cooksey, nee Biggs. 1891 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 118 (apartments) Lavender Road, West Battersea, London. 1901, now with parents and siblings at 128 Lavender Road. 1911 parents still at the same address, he is now the army. His father was granted a gratuity 1 December 1915 and his mother 8 November 1919. Burial service by Reverend E. Edmonds-Smith C.F

E044 Herbert Falconer SHELTON. Corporal 72034, M Coy, Cable Section, Royal Engineers. Died 20th May 1915, aged 22 years in a military hospital in Malta from tuberculosis. Son of Isabella nee Ritchie and Frederick Bull Shelton. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at 30 Ducie Street, Armley and Bramley, West Riding, Yorkshire. His brother Frederick Norman Shelston was granted a war gratuity 12 November 1915 revised 19 June 1919.

E044 Edward TURLEY. Private 16403, 4th Worcestershire Regiment, died of wounds 7th June 1915, aged 17 years in a military hospital in Malta. Son of Enoch Turley and Harriet nee Whittaker of Brierley Hill, Staffordshire. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at 45 Albion Street, Brierley Hill, Brierley, Worcestershire. His mother was granted a war gratuity Harriet and brother, L/Cpl 19813 Frederick was granted a war gratuity 27 November 1915. His mother was granted a revised gratuity 24 December 1915 and revised 30 August 1919.
