- E020 Frederick BEDFORD. Lieutenant, Royal Navy HMS St.Angelo. Drowned 21st February 1942 aged 22 years as the result of a plane crash. Son of Gladys, nee Mort and Vice-Admiral Arthur Edward Frederick Bedford, C.B., C.S.I. of Easthampnett, Sussex. Admin, Ancestry - His residence in England was Boxgrove, near Chichester. His effects went to his father.
His father died suddenly aboard H.M.S. Sheffield lying in the Grand Harbour, Malta 5 December 1949. He was buried at sea off Malta and his memorial is in St Paul’s Pro Cathedral, Valletta. (See photo for Arthur E F Bedford)

E020 Robert Graham Webster BEVERIDGE. Flight-Lieutenant, Pilot, 86337, Royal Air Force (VR), 39 Squadron. Died 14th April 1942aged 25 years whilst flying his Beaufort N1169 plane. Plane attacked by enemy aircraft when returning to Malta after attacking an Italian convoy. His brother Sergeant Pilot Alan Reid Beveridge, RAF was killed in action 1 July 1941 aged 21. Sons of John Graham and Grace Webster Beveridge, of Broughty Ferry, Angus. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - His residence in England was 44 Camphill Road, Broughty Ferry. His effects went to his father, clerk.

E020 Hiram Aldine PUTNAM, Pilot-Officer, Pilot, J/15079, Royal Canadian Air Force, 126 Squadron, RAF. Died 21st April 1942 aged 28 years, Son of Hiram and Eula Everritt Putnam, of Clarkwood, Texas, United States of America.
