E018 Kenric Newton Lathrop MURRAY. Pilot-Officer, 400152, Royal Australian Air Force. Enlisted 23 June 1940 in Victoria, Australia aged 18 years and 6 months. Occupation prior to enlistment, motor driver. On the 10th March 1942 he was flying his Spitfire near Dingli, Malta when he was attacked by enemy action. He crashed at Dingli at 2-40pm, taken to hospital but died shortly afterward from multiple injuries aged 20 years. Son of Hugh Lathrop and Eila Isabel Murray, of 31 Tintern Avenue, Toorak, Victoria, Australia.

The husband of Winifred Bond, nee Witherall of Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Wills and Admin, Ancestry. His residence in England was 32 Harpsden Road, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, his effects went to his widow.
