Sergeant Donald John. HALKE Royal Air Force. 460 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force lost over Germany 25th February 1944.
He was Sergeant, Flight Engineer 1802238 Donald John HALKE Royal Air Force (VR) attached to 460 Royal Australian Air Force. Crew of a Lancaster Bomber. He was killed in action along with the crew on the 25th February 1944. Commemorated on a memorial plaque at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire. At rest un Durnbach War Cemetery, Bayern, Germany.
