Extended Description: D601 Richard Thomas Lionel BRUNSDON. Royal Marine PO/20456, on HMS Egmont. Born 3 March 1900 at Oldham, Hampshire to Stephen James and Clara Jane Brunsdon, nee Robinson. Enlisted 24 January 1918 at Southampton aged 17 years, 1 month and 21 days, occupation prior to enlistment, general labourer. Married as Richard Thomas L Brunsdon 5 April 1928 to Florence Elsie Mold at Portsmouth. Resided at 33 Tavistock Road, Bantry, Oxfordshire. Re-engaged 17 June 1929. Died 31st December 1930 aged 30 years at Royal Naval Hospital of epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis.
At rest in Plot D Grave 601 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
