- D. VIII. 2A. Ernest Herbert COULTON, Private, 2331, 1/1st Derbyshire Yeomanry. Son of Charles Herbert and Alice Maud Coulton, nee Archer of Barrow-on-Trent, Derby. In 1891 he was living with his parents at Dog Lane Cottage, Netherseale, Leicestershire. 1901 residing with his parents and siblings at The Nook, Barrow on Trent, Derbyshire. Died in Malta 20th November 1915, aged 25 years. His father was granted a war gratuity 2 March 1916 revised 10 September 1919.
