D.III.3 James Reginald LINDLEY

Extended Description
LINDLEY James Reginald. Gunner, 4519, 3rd Field Artillery Brigade, Australian Field Artillery. Died of nephritis, 5th November 1915, aged 20 years. Son of Charles W Lindley, of Turton Street, Devonport, Tasmania. Enlisted on the 9th March 1915 at Claremont, Tasmania. Embarked from Alexander for Gallipoli 1st August 1915. Taken ill at Gallipoli suffering from dilation of the heart and admitted into No 3 Field Ambulance l 20th October 1915 and invalided to Malta the same day. He was admitted to a hospital in Malta 27th October 1915 from Hospital Ship, Nevasa.
