This is the second part of the score board that was removed from the side of the island on the U.S.S. Lexington also as especially derogatory to the Japanese. It speaks in volumes for its self, a tribute to a gallant ship and her brave crewmen who served and fought and died. I was very fortunate to have gotten to go on this dependants cruise . To have been on this piece of floating living history and to meet and talk to the hero's who sailed on her in good and bad times, was and still is a breathtaking awe inspiring event, I'll never ever forget. Quite a few of the members of the BLUE GHOST Society have since passed on taking with them a world of history that for a short week in 1989 I got to relive and share with them.
