EDWARDS, William Albert Denis, Writer, D/MX738317 Royal Navy, on H.M.S. Saumarez. He was killed when the ship was mined on the 22nd October 1946 in the Corfu Channel of the Coast of Albania, he was aged 20. He was the son William Henry and Sylvia of Crewe, Cheshire. He is commemorated on the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Devon. (Not sure why he has been dedicated in this section)
