Cornes Hubert

Private 15861, 7th King's Shropshire Light Infantry who may have died 3rd November 1918 aged 27 from injuries sustained in 21st April 1917 in France. Son of George & Elizabeth of Faddiley Bank, Nantwich, Cheshire and husband of Annie nee Vickars. He was 1st wounded in the right wrist 25th September 1915 and was shot 21st April 1917 which lead to the amputation of his right upper arm and flesh wounds to both thighs. He was pensioned out of the army in 1917 (He is not listed with the CWGC)

Buried at St Mary's churchyard, Acton, Cheshire
