Spoke to Branch Secretary, Royal British Legion, Sandbach and ascertained that Mr Breathen served in the Royal Navy. This came about by a member who had known Mr Breathen.

I am assuming Roy was an ex servicemen as the RBl have provided his headstone
Any ideas when,where and who he served with mate.
This is the kind of headstone that could easily be passed by if you don't look closely enough, thanks for finding and posting it

I had a look around and there is no indication as to what he served in. I will try the local RBI to see if they can help, it's worth a try. Will post if I find anything.
