B.XI.4. Robert JONES. Private, 2011, 5th, Royal Welch Fusiliers, years. Born 1869 to Azariah and Elinor Jones of Gwylfa, 22 Erskine Road, Colwyn Bay, Wales. 1911 residing with his father at 22 Erskin Road, status single, occupation, bricklayer. Died of dysentery in a hospital in Malta 18th September 1915, aged 54 years. His father Azariah was granted a war gratuity 4 January 1916 revised 17 July 1919.

Louis JONES. Private, 2279, 6th, Royal Welch Fusiliers. Born 1888 at Holyhead, Anglesey, Wales to John and Elizabeth Jones nee Williams. 1891 residing with his parents and siblings at 22 Edmund Street, Holyhead. 1901-1911 still with his parents and siblings at 47 Thomas Street, Holyhead. 1911 his occupation was a railway porter. Died in a hospital in Malta from dysentery 17th September 1915, aged 27 years. His father was granted a war gratuity 31 December 1915 and his mother 20 August 1919.

Victor SMITH. Lance Corporal, TF/1790, 5th, The Buffs, attached to the 2/4th, Royal West Kent Regiment. Born 1896 to Charles and Ann Dixon Smith, nee Knott of 2 The Hill, Cranbrook, Kent. 1901-1911 residing with his parents and siblings at The Hill, Cranbrook, Kent. 1911 aged 14 occupation, telegraph messenger. 18 July 1915 he was serving at the Balkans. Died of septicaemia in a hospital in Malta on the 18th September 1915, aged 19 years. His mother was granted a war gratuity 24 January 1916, revised 4 April 1916 and again 9 August 1919.
