I first thought it could be a recovery Panther or Panzer-Bergewagen Bergepanther but your link makes it quite clear.

...I also recall those photos and I also converted a 1/35 Panther to the Recovery version, to which the spade proved to be a daunting task in itself! Good stuff guys!!
