- Chealsea pensioner attending the Ride To The Wall at the National Memorial Arboretum. He is wearing scarlet coat, traditional Shako cap (Every day hat) with the letters RH, the initials of the Royal Hospital.
Blue trousers first introduced in 1843. The trousers he is wearing are dark blue tweed, with scarlet stripe running down the outer seam, introduced in 1961.
