Charles Frederick SMITH

SMITH Charles Frederick. Stoker 1st Class, K/23109 Royal Navy on HMS Foxhound. Born 3 July 1896 at Dartford Kent to William and Annie Smith, of 26 Broad Lane, Wilmington, Dartford, Kent. Died from a wound to his left knee. 9th October 1916 aged 20 years in a hospital, Malta. He had a rupture of the popliteal ortiz. His mother was informed of his death.
