Charles Ernest YELLOP. Chief Petty Officer J36297, Royal Navy HMS Ceres. Born 24 July 1898 at Paddington, London to Charles James and Norah Flora Louisa Yellop nee Jeffs. Enlisted 5th February 1915 on HMS Ganges occupation prior to enlistment, rubber tyre clerk. He took his own life 5th November 1928 on board HMS Ceres by cutting his throat, suicide aged 30 years.
