Charles Edward STURCH

Extended Description: STURCH Charles Edward. Private 7299, 10th Battalion, Royal Worcestershire Regiment died of wounds 26th March 1916. Born 27 October 1889 at Shipston on Stour to Edward and Esther Ann Sturch nee Pratley. In 1901 he was residing with his parents and siblings at Court Row, Shipston onStour, 1911 he was boarding at the home of the Cunningham family at 23 St Peters Street, Lowestoft, Suffolk, occupation, house painter.

At rest in Merville Community Cemetery, France.

Commemorated on Shipston on Stour War Memorial, Worcestershire.
