Died 3 July 1943 aged 39

Captured 15 February 1942 and taken prisoner when Singapore fell.
Residence - 12 Jeynes Row, Tewkesbury and his effects went to Harriet Ryland.

At rest a Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, Thailand, ref. 2 G. 57. Original grave Plot 2 Row G Grave No. 29 Takanoon reburied 7 February 1946.

Story of above posted in a shop exhibition in Main Street, Tewkesbury, opposite the War Memorial.
